Casky Connect

Privacy policy

Casky Connect helps your church organize serving, groups, events, and ministry finances. This explains what information the service handles and the choices you have.

Effective October 14, 2026. Casky Connect is operated by Josh Pulley, doing business as JPSS (JP’s Software). Contact hello@jpss.dev with privacy questions.

Information we handle

How information is used and shared

We use this information to provide the features you request, authenticate accounts, enforce church permissions, deliver selected notifications, prevent abuse, and maintain the service. Group content is shared with people who have access to that group. Church administrators and authorized leaders can access records according to their role.

Cloudflare hosts the service, database, uploaded files, and email delivery infrastructure. Expo provides app builds, updates, and push-notification delivery; Apple and Google deliver notifications to devices. Those providers process the information needed to perform their services. Links to third-party websites and videos are subject to those services’ privacy policies.

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

Your permissions and choices

Photo access is optional and used when you choose an image to upload. Notifications are optional; manage them in the app and your device settings. Face ID and fingerprint checks happen through your device’s operating system. Casky Connect does not receive or store your biometric templates.

You can update supported profile fields in the app, block members, report group content, or ask your church office to correct records it manages. Contact JPSS for access or privacy requests that the app cannot handle.

Account deletion and retention

In the app, open My profile → Privacy & safety → Delete my account. Confirm with your password and type DELETE. Deletion removes your login and personal group posts, replies, reactions, and personal photos. Conversations retain anonymous placeholders so other people’s replies remain available. Personal photo removal runs in the background and retries if storage is temporarily unavailable.

Church-managed directory profiles, schedules, group rosters, attendance, registrations, household relationships, budgets, receipts and their files, announcements, and audit history remain with the church. Account deletion disconnects your login from those records; it does not cancel assignments or delete the church’s records. Contact the church or JPSS about correction, retention, or deletion of information in those records. Other members’ accounts and contributions are not deleted. Limited copies may remain in infrastructure backups until those copies expire. We do not use backup copies for ordinary app access.

Service records are retained as needed to operate the app and address security or legal obligations. For a specific retention or deletion question, contact hello@jpss.dev. If you cannot sign in, contact us for help verifying and processing your request.

Children and family records

This is a church community service, not an app directed specifically at children. A church may keep child and family records through authorized staff and guardians. Do not post a child’s private information or photo without appropriate permission. Parents and guardians can contact their church or JPSS about those records.

Security and changes

We use encrypted connections, authenticated access, and role-based permissions. No system can guarantee complete security. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above identifies this version.
